Job Description
âPlan and manage procurement of food raw materials, ingredients, additives, and
packaging materials
âIdentify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers compliant with food safety standards
âNegotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules
âEnsure materials meet quality, hygiene, shelf-life, and regulatory requirements
âCoordinate closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Warehouse teams
âMonitor inventory levels to avoid shortages, wastage, or expiry
âTrack market trends, seasonal availability, and price fluctuations of food commodities
âManage vendor audits, certifications, and compliance documentation
âHandle import/export procurement where applicable
âResolve supplier quality issues, delays, or shortages promptly
âMaintain accurate procurement records and prepare MIS reports
