Job Description
⢠Manage end-to-end accounting operations in Zoho Books including vendor payments, transaction monitoring, statutory entries, bank reconciliations, monthly book closure, manual journals, and preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
⢠Review, approve, and process accounts payable transactions ensuring correct account heads, GST input eligibility, RCM/TDS applicability, contract compliance, timely payments, and weekly vendor aging and balance reporting.
⢠Handle accounts receivable operations including invoice raising, e-invoicing, project/job-wise revenue tracking, customer reconciliations, billing dispute resolution, and receivables aging analysis to ensure timely collections.
⢠Ensure accurate payroll and employee expense accounting by posting monthly payroll journals, accounting welfare expenses, deducting statutory taxes, and ensuring timely remittance to government authorities.
⢠Perform month-end book close activities including validation of general ledger, AP, AR, payroll entries, prepaid expenses, provisions, GST/TDS completeness, trial balance generation, and period locking.
⢠Manage end-to-end GST and TDS compliances including GSTR-1, 2B reconciliation, GSTR-3B filing, unmatched transaction resolution, TDS returns, and submission of monthly statutory summaries to management.
⢠Prepare and present financial reports, management dashboards, expense variance analysis, bank position statements, and reports required by auditors, bankers, and senior management.
⢠Ensure adherence to accounting SOPs, internal controls, audit requirements, contract and insurance renewals, documentation security, risk identification, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvements.
