Job Description

Production Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the
production floor, ensuring that manufacturing goals and deadlines are met
while maintaining product quality standards.

SMT Focus: Lead and optimize the Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
production lines, ensuring proper maintenance, troubleshooting, and
continuous improvement of SMT processes.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of production operators,
technicians, and supervisors. Foster a collaborative and high-performance
environment.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in production
operations, and implement lean manufacturing practices to drive efficiency
and reduce waste.

Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the required quality standards by
closely monitoring production processes and conducting regular audits and
inspections.

Production Planning: Develop production schedules based on demand
forecasts, ensuring resource availability, and minimizing production downtime.

Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure
the production machinery, particularly SMT equipment, is well-maintained and
operating at optimal efficiency.

Inventory Management: Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to
ensure timely availability of materials and components required for production.

Reporting: Prepare regular production reports, including key performance
indicators (KPIs), to track progress and identify any potential challenges.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A
Master’s degree is a plus.
 15+ years of experience in a production management role within the
electronics manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on SMT.
 Deep knowledge of SMT processes, including machine setup, maintenance,
and troubleshooting.
 Extensive experience in production planning, resource allocation, and process
optimization.
 Strong familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous
improvement methodologies.
 Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large teams.
 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
 Strong understanding of quality control techniques and industry standards.
 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred Skills:
 Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory
management.
 Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other relevant certifications.
 Knowledge of ISO standards and other industry certifications.
